How do I know what size to order? Check our size chart on every product page. As we develop our products, our sizing is constantly being fixed and improved, so if you're ever unsure, feel free to email us or DM us on social and we'll help you find the right fit.

Do your pieces run true to size? Because every piece is hand-sewn in small batches, there can be occasional natural variations from run to run — if a particular style needs a size adjustment, you'll find a note under the Fit section on that product page

What if my item doesn't fit? No stress. You've got 14 days to exchange for a different size, subject to availability — see our Returns & Exchanges page for the full details.

Where do you ship to? Nova ships worldwide. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location

How long does delivery take? We aim to have your order with a courier within 2 working days of purchase. Need it faster? Contact us and we'll see what we can arrange.

How much does shipping cost? NZ domestic shipping is free for orders $250 and above,
with a flat rate of $15 for rural delivery. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location.

Do you ship internationally, and will I be charged customs or duties? Yes, we ship internationally. As a small business, any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Can I exchange for a different size or colour? Yes, subject to stock. We produce in small batches, so if your size or colour has sold out, we'll offer store credit instead.

How long do refunds take? Once we've received and checked your return, refunds are
processed within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method.

How do I look after my sequins? Treat them gently and they'll shine for years:
• Hand wash recommended. If you must machine wash ensure it is cold, gentle, items in a delicate bag and use eco detergent.
• Lay flat out of direct light to dry

Will the sequins fall off? Every sequin is hand-stitched, not glued, so they're built to move with you. Because each one is placed by hand rather than mass-applied, you get far less sequin drop than typical sequin clothing — which means less waste, and a piece that's made to be worn again and again, not thrown away. Every Nova piece also comes with a small bag of extra sequins for repairs, should you ever need them.

Who makes Nova pieces, and where? Every Nova piece has two homes before it reaches you. First, a women-owned clothing business in Bali cuts and sews each garment from organic fabric. From there, it travels to a village collective of women artisans, who sit together and hand-sew every single sequin on, one by one, by hand — a slow, deliberate
craft that simply can't be rushed or replaced by machine. Choosing to work this way means we're supporting women-led businesses at every stage, and it means no two pieces are ever quite the same.

Are your artisans paid fairly? Yes. We work directly with the women who make our pieces, and we never negotiate down. They set their own prices, and if a piece takes longer than expected, they tell us — and we pay exactly what they ask, every time, no questions.

What are your pieces made from? Our sequin clothing items are crafted from 100% organic cotton as their base, we use a cotton twill or a stretch lycra cotton. Then the clothing
is fully covered in hand-stitched sequins — designed to be worn, loved, and re-worn for
seasons to come.

What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Afterpay.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it? Yes email us at returns@nowyounova.com to catch us before we put your purchase on a courier.

Do you offer gift cards? We are working towards this – please email us if you wish us to create a gift voucher for someone special marketing@nowyounova.com

Is my payment information secure? Yes — all payments are processed securely through Shopify's encrypted checkout. Nova never sees or stores your card details

Why is an item sold out? Because every piece is made in small batches by hand,we can't always guarantee we'll be able to source the same sequin colour again. If you see something you love, we'd recommend getting it while your size is in stock.

Will sold-out items come back? Some signature styles are restocked; others are limited edition and won't return once they're gone. Follow @nowyounova for drop announcements.
